Email Settings for HP 2110 (copier, scanner, printer)
I am trying to direct scanned images to an AOL e-mail form for e-mailing rather than using the default outlook express. I can not find any options in the HP software to make that change. Using (sending) the default e-mail results in the message and image being lost in cyberspace. However, transferring the image directly from the scan reduces the size of the image to fit e-mailing. Attaching to the AOL e-mail results in extra large images being received, but the e-mails will go through. Any suggestion????

I'd imagine it's because of AOL.... I'll take a guess that because AOL uses a propietary mail system as ooposed to the rest of the world that it would have required extra work on HP's part so they simply don't support it.

There's directions and links for setting up third party software such as OE and others on that page. My suggestion would be to get rid of AOL for more resons than just the issues( which there are many) that arise from their e-mail policies.

As far as that goes I don't exactly understand what you mean. If you attach a file using a any email program it shouldn't resize it however if you are using the scanning software or some other software prior to attaching it it may by default resize the image for you if you use the email function in it.
