Unhappy Photoshop album starter edition & Nokia
Hi,

Not sure if this should be in hardware or digital photography.

My problem is this:

I have a Nokia N80 and I can't view thumbnails of the photos or videos when I connect it to my PC. I have two software programs - Nokia PC Suite and Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition. I can't view thumbnails on either of them.

With the adobe program, everything seems to be working. It recognises that the N80 is connected and I try to get the thumbnails from the phone, it recognises how many photos i have but then I get a box that comes up with the message "Failed to obtain thumbnails from the device. The device is not connected or is busy." I've checked the connection, which is fine and the phone isn't busy as far as I'm aware.

How do I fix this, or is there another piece of software I can use. Would really appreciate your help,

Alex

Connect up in the usual way, then click on My Computer and you should see the phone in there, click on it and see if it works that way ...

Hi,

When I do that, all i see is a 'Nokia Phone Browser' folder. Double click on it and there's nothing there.

Yesterday I managed to transfer any new photos or videos I had with some of the Nokia software but still can't get thumbnails and now it takes an age for the phone to be recognised as connected if it does at all.
