Exclamation Can't upload videos on Windows Movie Making
I put videos from my digital camera to my computer. I was trying to upload them onto windows movie making, but for some reason they aren't letting me do it. Can someone help me?

The videos are already on my computer saved. I am now trying to put them on windows movie making. when I go to import video, I go to the file where the videos are and it shows nothing, but when I go normally it shows the videos. The only time that windows movie making shows the video is when I switch the type to all files. I think the file type has to be avi, mpg, m1v, mp2v, or mpeg.

I know the problem now, but do any of you know any good video or movie converters that are free and it converts the file 100%?

This is a freebie http://www.thugsatbay.com/tab/?q=zs4...editing-system but you won't get a free converter for mpeg2.

If you don't know download g-spot here, open the file with it and take a screenshot of the information: http://www.headbands.com/gspot/

Convert it to what? DVD compliant files? Try this: http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=vso_DivXtoDVD

@rache That's one free alternative for free MPEG2 conversion, there are others....

The problem was that movie maker only accepted files that are avi or mpeg.

I still need a good and free movie converter to make the file avi or mpeg and it has to convert 100% of the file.
