As you know .psd is an extension used by photoshop
You can open .psd files and do some rudimentry editing to them with a freeware app called Irfanview (its text editing capabilities are pretty limited though ... the version I have will only allow you to insert text)

If you have a recent version of photoshop AND the text still exists on a separate layer, then editing text is very simple.

open file with photoshop, hit F7 to open layers panel, look for the layer with the text you want to edit (it will have a box with a large "T" to the right of the "eye" icon and the first few words of the text next to it), double click on the large "T" which should highlight the text, make changes to text, save.

all fonts and text styles should remain the same. If the new text is longer or shorter in content and you wish to move the position of the edited text on the page, then single click the "T" to exit text editing and then use your up-down or left-right arrow keys to nudge the text to it's new location.

If there is no longer a separate text layer, then editing the text will be very difficult and possibly not feasible.

You will only be able to edit the Text in the original psd file.
Hope you still have it.

Once you save it as another format .. You loose the text layer and it gets merged into one Image layer... (basically stated)
Then the text editing can be extremely difficult even in Photoshop.
