Printing blues

I don't know why but my mother's computer (which is giving me sooo much grief!) Is printing everything in inverted colours. I have checked everything in the settings but i have no idea why it's doing that, it's really giving me the....you know whats. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Any clues to the printer make and model would be appreciated by those that may be able to help.

Also from what applications you are trying to print from (do they all act the same)?
