sending photo as attachment
If I send a photo out of my Pictures folder as an attachment, rather than as part of the email, it arrives huge, i.e. not reduced. I know I can reduce it by left-clicking on it, etc. - but it then becomes part of the actual email.
But is there a way to, perhaps, first reduce it and then send that reduced picture as an ATTACHMENT?
I have Windows XP.
Thanks...

Yes there is.
Look here, which btw is the first thread in the " Photography " section where you posted this thread.

thank you - I downloaded and installed the "Resize" program, and it does indeed resize. BUT, when I try to send it as an attachment, it still arrives inside (i.e. as part of) the email rather than a separate attachment to be clicked and opened.

What do I do for it to be sent as an actual attachment?

It makes a difference what you and the recipient use for an email client ... Some can be sent as a seperate attachment some are embeded
