Adding color to a Black and White Photo
Hi All,

Question~I love the BW pics where they have been 'layered?" to show one object in the pic colored ONLY. I am not looking to convert a BW to color, just one portion of the pic. Is that a layering effect? Is there a particular program that handles it best/easily? Thanks for any input.

I would start with a color image, select the segment you want to stay in color, inverse the selection, and then convert to gray-scale the selected area (all the rest of the image). I would think any good photo editor should be able to do this.
