Question Solved: Problem with Pentax
For over a year now I have been using, quite happily, Picassa 2 with my Pentax Optio 50L. I would plug the cable into the camera, switch on, the LED would start flashing blue and I would be given half a dozen options on the PC monitor, one of which was to display on Picassa. No problem.
Now, suddenly, all that has changed. Now when I plug in there is no flashing blue light and a Pentax icon appears on both taskbar and systems tray, something which didn't happen before. Instead of a blank camera monitor it now displays "Data being processed" followed by "No connection" with the options Exit or Continue OK. Clicking on OK I get "Data being processed" then after a minute or so the "No connection" again.
On the PC monitor instead of a multichoice I have a Pentax Optio 50L window. It tells me "Camera connected" then "Select the program to launch for this action" (the panel below it is empty). Then a box to be ticked "Always use this program for the action". Ticking changes nothing. At the bottom of the window there is a grayed out OK and a Cancel. I'm left with nowhere to go! Help, please.

With the camera connected does it make a drive in Windows Explorer or My Computer? It could be labeled “removable drive” or “camera”, but it will have a drive letter.

Please now ignore. I have solved the problem myself by playing around with the camera settings. Thanks anyway!
