Post adobe photoshop file reading
Hello there. I'm taking a graphic design course in college right now. Everything opens and closes fine at school, because obviously the programs are there. But if I bring the files home, the computer says it can't read them. I've even downloaded a form of Adobe reader, but that didn't help either. I'm completely lost, andy help would be appreciated!

Are these PSD (Photoshop files)?

Adobe Reader is only for PDF files. To view PSD files you need something like Irfanview.

Though only if the PSD files have been saved with a composite layer (Maximize PSD compatibility checked in Photoshop preferences).

The easiest way to view files from Illustrator, would be to save as PDFs. They would still be editable in Illustrator.
