Smile Changing program default for JPeg files
When I download from my card reader, it defaults to PhotoShop Elements 5.0. I would like to change the default to opening in My Pictures. I have Microsoft Vista and cannot find how to do this. Can you help me?
Thanks, Sharon

Welcome to the TSG forum.

I assume you want them to open in Windows Photo Gallery as your default viewer.

Right click on a image (the file type) you want to change ...
choose Open With >> Choose Default Program >> and browse to find Windows Photo Gallery.

Personally ..
I've replaced WPG with freeware Irfanvew as my default Viewer and Basic Image Editor.

In Irfanview's options .. You can tell it to be the default for all Images.
You can also tell Irfanview to make APE 5 the "extended editor"

Irfanview and Photoshop are the only two Image programs I use.
They play together very well.
