Solved: Anyone know good tutorials for Paintshop 7?
I've been looking online googling and using other search engines but I figure I may try here as well since I'm sure someone here used Photoshop. Anyone know any good free resources to learn Photoshop from the bottom up? Or would it be better to just experiment. I didn't get a book at all with the software so I'm not sure how it works and playing around Photoshop isn't completely intuitive to just learn, for me anyways. I only just got into content development a little bit and have really only used paint.net which is great for being free but can't do all the things photoshop can do. Any suggestions are much appreciated, thanks.

Your subject asks about Paintshop 7 and the text refers to Photoshop. Which are you using?

Either way I would search for tutorials based on what you want to do. Most newer tutorials work with PSP 7 and PS 7. Following a tutorial on lettering, selections etc is about as good a way as I know to get the basics down. You can look up anything you don’t understand as you go.

HP regularly has free online classes in Photoshop, but you might have a hard time in a course with an older version. You might try this: http://graphicssoft.about.com/c/ec/1.htm About.com has an entire list of beginner’s tutorials: http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/pho..._Beginners.htm They have another list for Paintshop.

Yeah I was wrong on my title, I just got paintshop in my head somehow while I was typing. No I meant the Adobe Photoshop that many people use. Yeah the same thing you said is the problem I have been having I believe Adobe is up to something like Photoshop CS3 and I don't have that one. I will try that link you gave, thank you very much!

great place for graphics tutorials etc
I look on www.renderosity.com they have tutorials for all sorts of graphics programs and lots of photoshop tutorials. I downloaded some really good ones on painting hair, and clothing. They also have a ton of links to other grapics sites.

Hi wilson44512

It appears you are just as confused or distracted as the original poster.
you have mentioned two different programs

I agree with slipe... there are so many tutorials available for both that it is most often best to search for a specific task

We are talking about Photoshop, not Paintshop. Your text is right but your image is wrong.
