Question problems with emailed photo sizes
For many years, I've edited Photos using PhotoSmart5, no problems. For the past year, I've used a Canon PowerShot SD550 still no problems. Recently some friends are complaining that the photos they receive are now the size of postage stamps, about 2kb and any effort to enlarge them results in very blurry, grainy photos. Yet, on my system they are 8 x 6 (inches) and 150kb and be enlarged with clarity. My browser is Foxfire and I send my email from Yahoo Mail. I've experimented with other photo editors and other email accounts (outlook, gmail, etc.). The same thing still happens. I've tested sending to myself and don't have this postage stamp size problem. (Although there are some size differences with different email accounts.) The only change I've made in the last few months is upgrading to PhotoShot 7. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the TSG forum.

Have you tried the freeware Irfanview to View and Edit your Photos ???
It's very popular here at TSG .... http://www.irfanview.com/

Did you mean "upgrading to Photoshop 7" ... instead of Photoshot

I'm thinking its the way you're working to send the photos.
Have you tried to send yourself a copy of each Email you send to your friends ??

The problem isn’t with Yahoo mail. I’ve sent many images with no problem. Confirm you are sending the images as attachments and browsing to the image file source on the HD in the attach dialog.

By “some friends” do you mean a single group with a single computer or friends in different locations with different computers? You say you have sent them to yourself using the same method and they are OK, so if it is a single group I would guess the problem is on their end.
