Unhappy Picture Package from Sony Handycam Error 110
Hi

I have Picture Package from my sony and used it without any problems. I have a toshiba xp sp2, with pentium 4 and plenty of free space on the HD.

Formatted the computer and now tried to install it again and it seems to have installed fine, but when you click start (transferring from cam to pc) the software "vanishes" and an error code appears (110 - could not find the location specified).

I tried to look up the registry to see if the locations match what I have, changed the standard folder to install, install from my pc, from my CD rom... everything I could think of.

I usually use Movie Maker to have a full copy of the video, but picture package allows me to transfer with my USB and automatically chooses scenes, edit and put any music that I choose on the background. I guess I am lazy.

If anyone know the solution to this please help (Pixela itself could not solve it), or any suggestion on software that does the editing by itself can work as well.

Just trying to share on youtube, so I dont need anything too fancy.

Thank you in advanced!!!

When you "reformatted the computer" did you reapply all the motherboard chipset and video drivers?

Basic Windows drivers may be less than optimum for the correct connectivity.
