Unhappy camera has trouble reading the memory stick
HI,
I have a 2002 Sony dsc-F707 digital camera. Latley it has trouble reading the memory stick. Most of the time when I turn it on it will tell me "no memory stick". Sometimes it will read it, most of the time not. I tried the memory stick with another camera and it works just fine. Then I tried a couple of other memory sticks with my camera and it displays the same problem. So I am assuming it is a camera and not a memory stick problem. Sometimes shaking the camera a little will make it read the stick. Bad connection somewhere??? Any suggestions what I could try or do I have to sent it to Sony?????
Thanks for any pointers
Corinna

Hi and welcome. Either the contacts, or perhaps some dirt build-up inside? And yes, probably a job for Sony.
