Exclamation Major Problem with Sony DCR-W100
Hello, everyone. I need HELP!

I am going on Vacation very soon, and I want to bring my camera along, but it will not work. Here is my story:

I purchased my Sony DSC-W100 in September, and up until now it has worked just fine.

I turned the camera on the other day, and it started up to a black screen. Now, everything is loaded; I can view my pictures and everything, but the LCD is black when you go to take a picture/video.

The battery is charged fully, so I don't think it is that.

Please, can someone help me. I would appreciate it immensely. Help!

I really could use your help..
Thanks,
Midd08

The W100 has a button to turn the LCD off in picture taking mode (this is common as its an unnecessary battery drain for a camera with a normal viewfinder).

You are really sure the screen is not just turned off?
