Fire Department needs help!!!
I am in need of some dire help. I need to imprint the attached badge to a name tag format at the station, and this is the best I can get it.

I don't know how many of you are good with Photoshop, but I am guessing this should be a pretty easy job for a pro, like most of you probably are.

I need everything but the badge as white a possible, including the small spaces between the eagle at the top, and the little niches around the badge, and can you make the badge look fairly nice as far as reflections go.

Normally I don't ask for something for nothing, but I swallow my pride due to my lack of skill, and our need for name tags.

Any help is greatly appreciated, and I thank you in advance for your time.

This might work if you reduce it to the size of a small image on an ID. The obvious suggestion is to get someone who knows what they are doing to take a decent photo of the badge. I couldn’t get it to attach because of size so I put it on the thread. If you want a link to a larger image send me a PM.

The only thing that could be improved is the state seal in the middle. Other than that, it is a highly badass job.

My tablet is out on loan so I’m reluctant to do too much artwork. I’m not too good at that even with my tablet. This came out a little better, but if you really want to make decent looking IDs you should take a decent photo of the badge. No camera is that bad. It is hard to know what the original color is supposed to be.

With a requirement like that, I would not use JPG, since many times the areas you think as being pure anything, are anything but.

howdy

I agree with slipe and ChuckE...

The blueish/aqua tint is no doubt the result of reflections

ferrija1's rediculiously large image only magnifies the reflections and makes the page have to scroll for width...

A good quality photo or scan on a medium gray solid background would make the request much easier...

Not that I ever doubted the power of Adobe Photoshop, given skilled techs, but this is incredible. Not just counting the amazingly large response, but the quality is amazing. Thanks, if there's anything I can do sound-wise as a favor for you guys, seeing how that is my specialty, let me know, and I'll be happy to do it.
