Video not fast forwarding
Hi,

Most video files I play have the ability to go forward and backward in the file. Using Mediaplayer 10, I just click on the progress bar below the image area and I can go forward or backward in the video.

In some videos however, this does not work. The video just plays at regular speed, and there is no possibility to go forward or backward. Is this a setting when the MPEg or WMV is created? Can I change this setting for an existing video, so I can move around in it ?

Peter

WMV videos that are being streamed via html must first download completely to your temp files folder before you can RW or FF. Otherwise, you are just watching the stream as it downloads in the background. Depending on download speed and length of video you may be able to navigate at some point during the playback before the end of the movie once the background download is complete.
