lost pix from SD card
I recently purchased a HP Photosmart R725 camera. I took pix using my PNY SD card from a previous camera. When a turned my camera on to take pix yesterday a blue diagnostic screen came up. Eventually I was able to take pix. Unfortunately all 100 or so of my pix already on the SD card have been lost. Is there anyway I can retrieve these pix? They are of my 8 year old's summer and can not ever be replaced.

I am desperate to get them back.

Thanks for any help,
Julie

Any pictures you overwrote on the card with new pictures can’t be recovered. The ones you didn’t overwrite can usually be recovered. It depends on how many pictures you took with the new camera.

You might try this: http://www.z-a-recovery.com/digital-image-recovery.htm If you read the FAQ you will see that the trial version will recover photos and is considered freeware.

Maybe someone else has a recovery freeware they prefer.

Good luck.

This worked perfectly. It even recovered pictures I had erased at Christmastime.
I am thrilled with the results.
