Let me list thy ways:
  • Your computer hates you
  • Your email hates you
  • Someone is sending you photos of keyboard symbols (whatever that means)
  • Someone doesn't know what they are sending you
  • Your "Temp" folder is maxed
  • Your email program is protecting you
  • Your email program does not know what to do with what someone is sending you
  • Your computer does not know what it is that someone is sending you (unassociated filetype)
  • We don't know what it is you are using for your email, so we don't know how to answer this
  • yah-da yah-da yah-da

If it looks something like these the program couldn’t determine what it was getting and showed the basic hex from the file. Word does that to me sometimes when I give it the wrong protocol for an odd file.

Windows can be screwy. At myway web email lot of the attachments have the very same name and or say type .txt on the image file. But there is a image in them and I can still open them and see the image.

Here is one attached.
You need to open it tru a image program and not just click on it to see the image or you see just the text code.

File Type: txt hummingbird1.txt (27.4 KB, 48 views)

Lanselot any possible people who may know how to answer your question MAY not see your question when you bury it here in someone else's post. You really ought to post your own question, and not tag on to this one.
