Saving a scanned file
I am trying to scan a certificate and than save it as a word or pdf document but it is only allowing me to save as a picture jpeg, bmp or tif or a Csf file. How can I change it so that I can save as as word or PDF. The scanner I am using is a Epson CX1500 which I have had for a while.

Save it as a jpg file, then in a blank Word document, select Insert - Picture - from file- navigate to where you saved it and double click it.

That should embed it in the Word document. Then right click on the embedded image and select "format picture" for layout options.
