kodac easyshare
Help? For some reason there is absolutely no response from my Kodac Easyshare program containing ALL my photos. I've been using it for over a year and today I went to open it and it acts like it doesn't exist? Please help me if you can, Thank you so very much.

EasyShare doesn’t contain all of your images. It doesn’t contain any of them. It just organizes them and puts them in folders on your hard drive. It has a default location to store them in, but you can tell EasyShare to store them anyplace on the computer.

If you have XP you will probably find them in Documents and Settings/All Users/Shared Documents/Shared Pictures/Kodak. I would copy them over to My Pictures and tell EasyShare to put them there in the future once you get it going again.

If you are accessing from a desktop icon, first go Start > All Programs. Find EasyShare and try opening from there. Sometimes desktop icons lose touch with programs.

If it won’t open from the start menu the best approach is to uninstall and reinstall it. Once you have located and moved your picture folder to a safe location like My Pictures in the My Documents folder uninstall EasyShare. Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Then reinstall it.

Edit: You might want to go to Kodak's site and download the latest EasyShare.
