Solved: Not enough RAM in CS2
Alright i'm not the best when it comes to photoshopping and such but i still know my way around. Previously i've had a system with only 1GB of RAM and i never had any restrictions when it comes to what i can/cannot do in CS2. Now i have built a new PC which has 2GB of RAM and i try to do simple things like Zigzags and lens flares and it tells me "Could not complete the Zigzag command because there is not enough memory (RAM)." Any tips or help is greatly appreciated.

where have you assigned the scratch disk to?

A separate partion is best

what are the specs on your computer? Do you have multiple partions?

I have upgraded to CS3 so bear with me...

open CS2... click edit then preferences then performance...if you have multiple partitions set the scratch to a different partion than the drive /program partition... If you only have one partition then set Photoshop to use 80 to 85% of available ram

Scratch disk
