Angry Help with vista pictures
Need help as l teach on line so have to send pictures as well as text files. Its been ok till saturday after l downloaded vista updates, not sure if its that.
When l want to attach a picture to email or on my blog, after clicking brows the file that comes up is a file that was on my xp pc but its got new pics on as well but this file hasn't got the pictures l want but if l go to start, pictures they are there but not when l am gettingthem for the blog or for emails to students.
This is an awfull problem for me as am disabled and this is my only income, if you would call it that but its important as well as l am an artist and need pics on my website ect.
Have also took picures again and uploaded them from camera but as far as l know you can't tell pictures were to go in vista or am l wrong, there also in vista gallery but you can't get them from there and the file that comes down has no index on left side as that would help, also no recent places come up either. Have tried everything l can think of, on right click there is send but pictures on so is there a way of transfering them. This file that does come up has a lot on it but last week l uploaded pctures from there to my blog and there was no problems.

howdy
and welcome

your post is very confusing to read/understand but.... My father is having similar problem ... I do not have vista but have been trying to help him when I am at his computer...which does have vista... personally I do not care for the picture and photo gallery or whatever they called it in vista... I finally convinced him to just transfer the pictures from his camera to a new folder using windows explorer which thankfully is still part of vista...then open and email/edit using the program of his/your choice

he "thinks" he likes the freeware program Irfanview

re-thank you
Sorry its a bit confusing , thats what vista does to you (g.
I just think i have sorted out everything then another one hits you.
I use firefox but it could be a option to use ie as well.
Just can't understand why it started just in few days as pictures till now hasn't been a problem. Another thing l was going to ask, is it ok to keep the pc on just on desktop all the time when not using it as mine like a lot of vista users have found is that graphic drivers crash at startup and mouse, keeping it on avoids that and its quicker as the other way takes eight to ten minutes to get online.
If the last post was confusing l will try and make it clearer.
When l want to upload some pictures to my blogs or website or email l cannot get the file were all my xp and some vista stuff to come up to send of. When l go from start to pictures l can see my stuff in pictures and its also in vista gallery.
