HP Memories Disk Creator
My memories program which has been working fine, all of a sudden has become inaccessible to me. The desktop icon is unresponsive. In "add or remove programs" the program is listed with 77.33 KB of content. I can't locate a trace of the program anwhere else on my computer. Where can I find it? And after I find it, how do I record it on a disk?? Any help will be most appreciated. Barney E. McLarty 191 Lovebridge Road, Calhoun, Georgia 30701-4913 bmclarty@comcast.net

The executable should be at the following location:

"C:\Program Files\HP\Memories Disc\"

Right click on the file hpod.exe
Select Desktop (create shortcut) from the menu. This will create an icon on your desktop.

Double click the icon & the program should startUp

Sorry but I am unclear as to what you mean by "how do I record it on a disk?? "

Thanks a million for your quick reply. I tried:
"C:\Program Files\HP\Memories Disc\"
The computer says there isn't such an address. What next??
My second question was this:
HPMemories Disk Creator is a CD burning program for storing photo collections. I had a collection of photos ready to burn before I lost contact with them; but I couldn't find any instructions mas to how to transfer them to CD.
I really feel bad about losing the photos after hours and hours putting them into "Memories". Perhaps I am not doing the right way to locate the lost files, but when I cut and paste your suggestion on my browser, it doesn't accept it.
Any more suggestions for a dumbell? This means a lot to me. Thanks so much. Barney

Did you save your project ??

If so it should still be on your computer.

Find the project file & double click on it, this should open the HP memory disk application. The project file should be what ever you named it with an extension of .pvm
If you don't know where it is search all files & folders on your C drive using windows explorer.

If the HP application will not open or is missing you can use the the HP Application Recovery process to restore HPMemories Disk Creator.

OR

You can also copy the file to a CD & process it on another PC that has HPMemories Disk Creator.
