document viewer
I have a Logitech digital camera that I can hook up to my computer and make movies with or take pictures. I'll make a short video of my granddaughter and then go to play it back and I get a message saying that 'Please wait while Windows configures document viewer.' Then after this message I get another one saying, ' The feature that you are trying to use is on a CD-Rom or other removable device disk that is not available.' Then another window pops up saying, 'Error 1706 No valid source could be found for product document viewer. Windows installer cannot continue.'
I've been using this camera for ages and I've never had any problems with it until now. It will record but it don't want to save it. What does this mean and what can I do to fix it?

This seems to mean that the program set as default for your videos is not capable of playing them.
This may have been inadvertently changed at one time by some other installation.
What program is set as default?
What kind of files are they (What is the file extension)?
My Olympus camera uses a Quicktime format, but you may be able to use WMP or Winamp.
