When transfering a black and white scanned image to this program, it appears as a bluish image (something like a very faded old time blueprint)and it is impossible to make out which is the picture and which is the background. Can anyone suggest how to show the image in it's true form, ie: black lines on a white background?

Hi Bill, did you scan as a greyscale images or as a colour image? If you scan a black and white picture as a colour image it will invariably have a colour cast.
