Memory Card to Photo Frame?
I got a new digital photo frame and am trying to get images from my computer onto the frame. I can load about 60 images onto the frame if I use it's external memory (the frames) but a memory card will obviously hold more images. The problem is..how do I get get the images from my computer onto the memory card so that I can plug the card into my frame?? The instructions with this Philips frame are minimal and the tech support online is horrific. I tried plugging the empty card into my camera and plugging the camera into the USB port but nothing is recognized on "My computer" and I assume that is because there are no images on the card.

Connecting the frame to a PC should also show a drive letter for the 'card reader' aspect of the frame.

So put a card in the frame, connect it and check My Computer for a new drive letter.... this will be it. It may show 2 or more new letters, one for the 'onboard' memory and one for EACH card slot. A process of elimination should find the correct one.

I also received a digital picture frame for Xmas. I haven't a clue how to get the pictures from my computer onto the frame. Any help would be truly appreciated. A CD came with the frame for acdsee photo manager and acdsee photo editor, which I ran and downloaded on to my computer. Is there a better photo manager I can use? I am at a loss, and would really like to put my pictures on this frame. It is a Fidelity electronics frame.

Same thing Nikki, just connect the frame to your PC, and let Windows install it. Then you'll have a new drive letter ... perhaps E.

Then in your photo manager software, you can copy images to that drive...

As for better software, for what you need it for they will be just fine. Don't try an reinvent the wheel, just follow the instructions, don't click YES unless you know why you are clicking it.

Have a go, then come back if you have a specific problem.
