Kodak digital picture frame
I can't figure out how to copy my photos from my computer to the picture frame. I follow the directions and where it says click on "copy to . . . " I don't know where to copy it to. The directions are not explicit enough (for me anyway). Anyway, nothing ever appears on my digital frame. The model no. is SV811. Thanks for any help.

Are you trying to load images using the USB cable or with a media card?

If USB, does a new device get recognized and pop up with a new drive letter or identifying description in the devices with removable storage or other area on the My Computer window? That's where you copy to.

If you're using a media card, same thing, copy it to whatever drive letter or other device listed in the My Computer window that is associated with that media card and then transfer that media card to the picture frame.

My frame is plugged into the computer. On my frame it reads " use PC interface to copy files." As instructed, my chosen pictures are in the picture tray, I click File / Copy to. A small screeen pops up telling me to copy selected files/videos to the following location with a little window and a drop down to choose my location by clicking on Browse. A list appears. Among others, I've clicked on My Computer. I copied to Removable Disk E - they copy to that ( I know because I checked by clicking on Start / My Computer/ Removable Disk E and there they were). But nothing appears on my frame. The only things that pops up when I plug in the frame to my computer is this Adobe Photoshop Album Starter. Use PC interface to copy files" remains on my picture frame. I'm plugging the frame into the front of my computer where the plug fits! It's the same outlet that I use to charge my ipod. Am I doing that wrong? I'm at a total loss. Thanks again.

If removable disk E is the picture frame, what you described sound like it should work.

the only other thing I might suggest is pay no attention to any software programs that pop up and want to help you out. Instead plug the frame in and then when Disk E appears just click on it and open it up like a normal window and go to where your photos are and open up that folder in a separate window and put the two side by side and then try to drag and drop your photos on the E (picture frame) drive.

IF that doesn't work, hmmm, there isn't a little switch or setting on the picture frame that tells it to display photos from a media card or else from the onboard storage is there? Just spectulating because you say the photos seem to copy over but the picture frame subsequently doesn't seem to see them. It might solve some questions if you tried using a media card instead and see what happens but if you don't have any compatible ones available it doesn't make sense to go get one unless you were going to put a lot of photos on at once and the picture frame storage didn't provide enough room.
