Smile Need image file conversion software
I have a lot of image files with a PSD extension. I understand that to be a Kodak proprietary format. I use Photoshop Elements 5.0 and it will not recognize the psd format. Can anyone suggest a file conversion program, preferably at no cost? Thanks.

.psd is Photoshops format not kodak ... why Elements won't recognize it is puzzling

Irfanview is free and will convert just about any thing for you

to add to bucks suggestion, irfanview will also recognize most incorrect file extensions and offer to fix them for you. And since elements isn't recognizing the PSD extensions there's a good chance thats the case.
