I downloaded a few of the different photo management software and decided to go with Picasa. I like it so far but I have a few minor annoyances.

If I have a folder with photos in it, and I add it to Picasa, everything is great and Picasa sorts the images by name. However, if I later add another image to that folder, Picasa will automatically stick the image at the bottom of that gallery in Picasa - even though by its name it does not belong there. Is there a way to make it so that Picasa automatically sorts all photo galleries by name, even if you add something to its folder at a later date? Thanks.

Try View>Folder View>Sort by Name from the Picasa menu, its set to sort by creation date (new adds tagged onto the end) by default.

have you also try windows live photo gallery it can edi pics and it sorts them by date you can also add tags so there easier to find . you can get it form get.live.com
