Z885 Picture malfunctions
Used Z885 to take aerial pictures, when I returned to the office, only about a third of the photos were there. All rest came out as file folders with the following names:

-(1.526╔.πR ,

{PQRSTs.@Yä,

r¼rëÉíö⌐.ÿj-, and so on???

No date taken and no file size.

The video came out named:
ÆíöúûѺw.êë£ with a file size of 553,843 KB

Thanks for any advise.

That suggests a memory card malfunction, or that the connection between the camera and the card is bad.

Whan a data line is missing, garbled characters will show.

Try the memory card in a card reader, to eliminate the camera electronics.

If kiwiguys idea doesn't work, you may be able to run a card rescue program on it and save all the images.
