kodac easyshare C433 display fualt
All of a sudden my little digicam has a fualt in the LCD.it appears to half of picture with the top half white and the bottom a blurry dark mass with nothing else visible. Is it possible to open the camera and fix this?
How do i go about opening the case (do the phillips head screws hold it together?) .
Are parts available for these if the LCD has broken down?.

If you can get the case open (yes the screws will hold it together, but some may be under labels and there will be a correct order) without destroying it, there will be nothing DIY in the repair. If a replacement LCD (it could also be the display electronics on the main camera board that is faulty) is available, it would probably cost more than the camera.

Yes, this is what i figured. it didn't last very long...
I got it open easily enough and the LCD is just clipped in place with a tape connection clipped to a circuit board. Nothing was loose but it's still not showing anything. The shame of it all is the camera still works OK,I just cant see what the screen is showing.
Cheers!
PS NZ? I was born in TeKuiti .
