Flash Card reader problem
Using Windows XP SP2
Until today my card reader was functioning properly.
Now when I insert a card nothing happens. I have tried with all the cards
in my possession but none of them work.
The card reader does not show up in my computer as a removable
or any other type of drive!
Can anyone please me tell me what has happened

This happens.
Re-start your computer and it should show up again.
Or unplug the reader with the computer off, then plug it back in with the computer on.

What causes this for me is forgetting to right-click on the reader in My Computer and choosing Eject before removing the card.

Hi

Possibly that card failed. Sometimes they develop bad sectors and become unreadable. Sometimes a chip can fail inside the card that needs to be replaced or reprogrammed.
