extracting from Firehand Lightning?
Hey,

so I got a photo album that runs as an .exe and it apparently is created by a prog called "Firehand Lightning." For the life of me though, I cant find any way of extracting the pics. Id like to print a few of them. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

As a quick aside. I am aware of the forum rules and I know that it may appear that I am asking for a hack. Im not sure that this would constitute as a hack, but if you think it is please...

These are my wedding photos, which I paid for, and they belong to me. The photographer, who was lousy to begin with, sent me the photos in this format so that I have to do all of my future printing through him, at his ridiculous prices. These are not copyrighted photos.

If you are not comfortable posting here, please email me.

Actually, they are his (and his copyright), unless you signed a contract that stated specifically otherwise. In which case you can demand the photographs or take him to court.

Most photographers get paid for their services not for the product.

I'm going to go ahead and close this, as technically, what you are asking would be against the forum rules.

Regardless of the rights & wrongs of the issue & whether it is technically possible to extract the photos from the .exe

They are unlikely to be of printable quality

Many photographers send low quality samples in this photo gallery style and they are normally very low resolution for screen display only

The original photos will be much higher quality for printing purposes
