I had Nero on my machine when I got it. As I don't use it much, I uninstalled the prog. Now, whenever I try to view a picture, I get an error message that says Nero is corrupted and needs to be reinstalled. I cheched my program list and it's not there, so I believe it's active in the registry. I am more of a hardware guy instead of software and could use a hand for someone who understands that side of things. Thanks in advance guys!

If you have a program called InCD in Add/Remove Programs, uninstall it, it's another Nero component that's installed separately.

Then go here http://www.nero.com/enu/downloads-cleantools.html and download the Nero CleanTool for whichever version you had, it should get rid of all Nero leftovers.

What other picture viewers do you have? You need to associate the file types with a different program or it will keep looking for Nero. Usually, you can do that in the program's options.
