hi , this is just a complete probabaly stupid question but i cannot find an answer anywhere on this.......i have a jvc gr d240ek mini dv cam i went and bought the firewire card and installed it, i bought the dv link cable but i cannot get the cam to be found by windows xp, even wizard search and add new hardware will not find it so..........does this cam need some sort of software loading disc that xp doesnt have or is it just me being stupid ? please any kind of help will be appreciated ....perplexed and puzzled
my other cam is found immediately on starting it so i know the card and lead work and it didnt require disc
