Question Solved: Unable to download photos
Until recently, I've been able to download photos from my Finepix F30 to my Toshiba Satellite laptop which has Vista Home Premium as its OS. Now when I try to download photos, nothing happens.

I've searched Help and Support and followed the suggestions but to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is it connected directly to the computer USB, or a USB hub. Do other devices like MP3 players get recognized when you connect?

In the mean time, did you try just manually copying them over by going to "My Computer", there should be a driver letter for the camera?

The camera is connected directly to the computer via USB cable (i.e. no hub). I'll check about an MP3 player and look for the camera in My Computer ands get back to you.

Going to My Computer seems to have worked, Ziggy. Thanks - and my apologies for the long delay getting back to you - had a room renovation to deal with.

Np, but do you not want to try an get the Camera wizard to pop up? In XP you can access it manually in the control panel ( vista is probably the same), but normally it should launch. make sure your computer has all it's updates from MS.

You might also want to check the fuji site for firmware update to see if it helps.
