(1)Am I selecting VIEW in IE? If not where?
(2)Do you mean checked or unchecked by "check off"?
(3)I've tried both ways in IE (Status bar checked and unchecked). It makes no difference, but then I don't get to see any %number or symbol! Where is that???

I attached a copy of IE showing checked STATUS BAR and the % in lower right corner just above the clock. When I make that % larger then 100% with the V thingie then my scrolling becomes very crude and it hesitates every half second or so-I think its as you describe your problem. Hope this helps you resolve your issues.
