XP Re-sizer issues
I was just trying to re-size several pics to post in an online ad. XP resizer is my mainstay when it comes to this task. I have been posting pics on forums and emailing for a long time...no problem ever.
Tonight re-sizer comes back with an error mssg. stating it cannot re-size my pic.
I was going to the "medium" choice and advanced "re-size this pic and do not make any copies"
I did it again only left out the advanced function and it worked flawlessly!
WHY???

Thanks,
MKD

Try resizing another picture. that way we can narrow it down to whether its the resizer or the photo

I mean try resizing a different photo now because something might have changed the program which altered the settings or something

I'm sorry...I didn't understand! I just duplicated my efforts with different pics and it works great!
I just thought about something...does Adobe prevent you from making changes to the original??? If it does then that may be my problem.
I don't have the CD from HP on my computer...I just plugged in his USB cord and the Adobe software recognized the HP camera right away. I downloaded the pics and then tried to post them to a Craigs List ad I was placing.
Just a thought!

What Adobe software ??? ... And NO, it shouldn't

You don't need any Camera software installed to get the pictures.
When you connect any camera via USB, it should show up in "My Computer" as just another drive.
From here, you should be able to browse the photos in the Camera, and Copy > Paste them to a folder.

EDIT .. as long as you don't install any Kodak Software junk

My older HP camera shows up in "My Computer" as a Flash Drive ..

If Noyb's comment doesn't work, attach the photo/s and I will try resizing them with Photoshop cs3
