Saving files with Canon Photostitch
I have used Photostitch to create a panorama photo from 4 separate photos taken with my Canon AS650IS digital camera. Photostitch completed the stitching and I saved the file from the File menu. The thing that is bothering me is that I cannot find the saved file using Windows Vista search methods. I cross-checked in Photostitch to determine which folder it saved to - when I look there in Windows Explorer, I find no file... When I search the file name across the whole harddrive, again, I cannot find the file. However, when I get back into Photostitch and do an "Open," there is the file name ready for me to re-open. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?

Try using the 'save as' function, and saving to a known place, such as the 'desktop' and see if it is there.

Saving File with Canon Photostitch
That worked. Obviously, I didn't try the obvious! Thanks for the suggestion. I guess the Photostitch software either has a glitch in it, or it hides files saved to the photostitch folder. Something strange, but at least saving to an alternate location works good. Thanks again.
