Is there a way to apply a fade from black to an image or video clip? The closest thing I could find is the PAN & ZOOM function, which does allow you to fade in by adjusting the Transparency, but there is no option to stop the Zoom function. So as the image or clip is fading in, it is also zooming in or out, which I don't want the image to do.

I'm astonished that the people at Ulead did not come up with a simple way of applying this well-used imaging function!

How about using a title slide and having as black then fading out to the movie or conversly fading into the black slide?

I think I'll just create a black image and use that
