Hi the programme and albums have disappeared. I could reinstall but I am unsure if that means my albums are lost

You should be able to log in to Picasa Albums with your Email address ..
and the password you used for Picasa Albums.
Picasa is not needed to access your albums.
Unless you've deleted the Albums .. They will still be there.

Welcome to the TSG forum .. Glad we could help.
See the thread tools at the top of this page and mark this one Solved.
I'm looking for a way to preset the slide speed with a link to the Album.
The 3 second default is way too fast for what I'm doing.
Do you know how to do that ??

Look at the plus (+) and minus (-) signs next to the "Seconds" label in the slideshow window.

I know about the +/- , But that's after the SS has started.
I was hoping there was something I could add to the private link to Preset it.
Or maybe picasa could preset it.
I expect many of our viewers aren't very Sharp when it come to computers.
In some cases, I'm using text like a comic book .. takes more time to read.
