music issues with Photo Story 3
I have 200 pictures set as a slideshow using photo story 3. It is great with the music added. The problem is my second song won't play automatically. If I add a different second song, it will play automatically, so I think I saved the song in a wrong format or something. The Photo Story 3 software seems to be working correctly, so my song is messed up. I downloaded 3 different songs at different times and the first one is good, but the other two just won't play. They will all play in real player or windows media player, just not in Photo Story 3. What am I doing wrong?

What is the format (File extension) of the second song?
Help:
"The music file can be in Windows Media Audio (WMA), MP3, or WAV format"

The songs are saved as a MP3. I don't see a ".wms" ".wav" extension or anything like that. I am convinced, though, that this is where my problem is. It is just so strange that I downloaded them all from WalMart.com in the same manner and two of the three songs won't play in Photo Story 3. I can select music and the title will show up, but no sound. If I stop the preview and skip over a few pictures and hit preview again, I have the song. If I try to play the whole thing, the first song (which will play anywhere in the slideshow) will play, but nothing after that. Is it possible that these songs have something embedded in them that prevents me from using them in a presentation? WalMart downloads said they are all copyright free, so I don't know if that could be the problem. Thank you again for your help.

Try an mp3 from a different source.

Thank you. I have tried using other songs and they work, even though I used Walmart downloads for those songs too. I am concluding that there is something mysterious with these two songs or just the way they were saved. I think I will try to figure out a different way to put the music and pictures together as I want them all on one cd.
