I've been using cs4 successfully on this machine for a few months. Just recently (last friday) it decided to stop opening. It would get to the 'Finding System Profiles' screen at startup and freeze. Dreamweaver also freezes. I uninstalled everything and while reinstalling had a problem with adding the CMYK and RGB color profiles. I was able to get around those to continue the install. I loaded all the color profiles off a machine with a working copy of photoshop to my new one and it still freezes at finding system profiles. I don't get a cell signal at my office so I can't successfully call Adobe tech :/

Does anybody have any ideas as to what is happening at this loading screen? I'm running vista business 32 bit. Thanks everybody!

BTW: The color profiles are located (on vista) at c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\color

I see Adobe techs sometimes answering questions on the Adobe forums. If nobody has any ideas here I would try there.
