Sony memory stick photo problem...
Hi,

I have a Sony T20 digital camera with a 4GB memory stick pro duo (magicgate).
I have just returned from holiday and on viewing the photos I noticed that whilst viewing the photos on the camera, there are some blue squares where some of the pics should be.
When i then transfer the stick to my Sony Vaio laptop, I can then see all of the photos.
Any ideas why there are blue squares instead of photos?
I saw the pics when i first turned the camera on to have a look.

Thanks again

Rob

You could format the card in the camera and see if that helps. If you usually just delete the photos you should format from time to time. The file allocation table can get things pretty fragmented if you don’t. I format every time rather than delete the photos after I download them.

Hey Slipe,

Thanks for your reply. I usually transfer the pics/vids to my laptop, then delete the contents from the stick.
After doing some research on the web, most people are saying reformat the stick.
I have also read someone says it could be humidity causing problems (it's very hot and sticky here tonight).
I will take your advice and reformat. I will also give Sony a call tomorrow.

Cheers again!
