Question Solved: What Makes of lenses have Image Stabilising
I know Canon do lenses that have the unique feature of Lenses Image Stabilisation. Do you know of anymore & what are they ? If any. Its for a 350D.

Thanks:

Hardly unique anymore.

Sigma and Tamron come to mind.
Nikon, of course, has VR (vibration reduction) lenses

no... an adapter is needed I believe

the other major players in the lens market make lenses for the specfic brand of camera..

Nikon and Canon get along like oil and water.

I have Sigma OS (Optical Stabilizer -- their version of image stabilization) lenses for my Canon (40D). Great feature, really helps with my older sometimes shaking hands.

Lens stabilizers have been around for quite a while, as the others have said. As far as I know, Nikon and Canon have been at it the longest. In the last few years, more camera manufacturers are concentrating on sensor-shift stabilization. Nikon and Canon are holding out though, in favor of the lens approach.

The problem I have is cost; a sensor-stabilized camera body is a onetime investment. You pay extra for each stabilized lens in the other approach. Normally I use a Pentax K20 (pre-ordered a K7!). It has sensor stabilization and can use every Pentax lens I've ever owned.

Be mindful of one thing: if you manage to combine a stabilized lens with a stablized body, turn one off! They don't play well together. The same can be true with a camera mounted on a tripod. The stabilizing circuitry doesn't quite know what to do about a steady body, so turn it off.
