Many sites like this one let you upload directly from your computer. Use the “Reply” tab. Scroll down to “Manage Attachments”. Browse to the file you want to upload and select “Upload”. There is a list of file types and the maximum size they can be in the lower part of the box. Different sites have slightly different dialog boxes, but the method is pretty much the same.
Some other sites require you to have online storage that allows you to link. That way the site you are putting the image on doesn’t have to store the image on their own server. Unless you have a storage site you can put photos on you can’t post photos on those sites.
There are free storage sites that allow you to link photos. You could probably get recommendations from people who use them. I use one that charges a small fee. They all have pretty easy to follow instructions for uploading your photos to them.

You can upload to Google Web albums for free ...
http://picasa.google.com/features.html
Then you can Email the links to your Photos ..
as either a
Slide Show
... or
Clickable Thumbnails
...
The easiest way to do this is to install Picasa .. But it will take a little learning
