Dark-Black screen
Any help: I have a dell inspiron and when i turn it on i have a bright screen then it turns dark i can kinda make it out but it goes in and out and if i close it and open it it turns bright for like 5 sec any ideas what this may be??

Try it on another pc, just to see if it does the same thing. If it does then your monitor may need some work.........

Thanx...tried that still nothing its weird it may be a loose contact because if i close and it and then open it it will come on normally for like 5 sec
