Question cannot burn pictures to cd
I am running on windows vista, and when I put in a cd and click on burn the only thing that comes up is the formatting box. It says format 702mb and the box will stay there, although the bar fills up. That is the only thing that happens. I have burnt pics before on this computer. The drive makes different noises than before. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it. I have been trying to find a soution for awhile now and I need help.

Welcome to TSG forums.
When I burn pictures to cd, I right click on the picture I want to burn, select send to the drive that has the burner (G drive in my case) and a little balloon comes up saying
'you have files waiting to burn to cd". When I have them all selected I click on the balloon and open the window select 'burn these files to cd.

Might you be using CD-RW media where you were using CD-R in the past? Rewritable media can ask for a format so it can be used as a drive where write-once media should not ask for a format.
