Exclamation Kodak EasyShare not findings pics now on external hard drive
I have the Kodak EasyShare software to upload and edit all my photos. My internal hard drive was too full so I purchased an external hard drive understanding that I could move my music and picture files to it in order to free up a ton of space. It worked with my music files. I right clicked, dragged and selected "move" from the C drive the external hard drive for my iTunes library. When iTunes opens, it understands that the music files are now in a another location. This process does not work with my Kodak EasyShare software. If I move the photo library, the software just claims that the pictures can't be found.

Has anyone successfully moved their Kodak pics to an external hard drive and still been able to use the EasyShare software?

iTunes is just a little smarter than your Kodak EasyShare software :P

You'll probably have to reimport your photos into the EasyShare software in order for it to recognize them all in their new location(s). I have not used the EasyShare software, but in a quick google image search I can see the general layout...are you able to right-click the folders in "My Album" and re-find them? That would be the most direct way that I could think of, rather than reimporting them.

I can right click and "reconnect" with photos. I guess I'll have to play around with it a little to see if it works. Such an arduous process but I guess it's what I'll have to do. I read another post by someone who said he uploaded them on the C drive, moved them to the external HD for storage, and would move them back to edit. No thanks....

Are you really addicted to Easy Share and it's Browser/Organizer features ??
Many have solved this problem by removing it and using something else.

Not so much addicted but use it for the convenience. I have a Kodak camera so not using the software makes some of the features useless.
